Donald Sinclair, CFA

Donald Sinclair is a Lead Financial Officer in the World Bank Treasury’s Capital Markets Department. He manages the team that designs and executes risk management strategies for the World Bank’s balance sheet and works with borrowing countries and clients to find market based financial solutions.

Mr. Sinclair joined the World Bank in 2008. He has expertise is in market risk management, the fixed income, volatility, and derivatives markets, and developing liability strategies. Prior to joining the World Bank, Mr. Sinclair spent twenty years in the private sector developing, implementing, and managing liability and capital market strategies.

He has a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from George Mason University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
