WBG GLOBAL PROPERTY, CASUALTY AND FINANCIAL LINES INSURANCE SERVICES

The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, hereinafter referred to as “WBG”, invites Proposals from Broker Firms interested in providing the Global Property, Casualty and Financial Lines Insurance Services required by The World Bank Group (WBG). Proposal must be received via email and by the WBG at GSDPRSolicitation@worldbank.org on or before the Closing Date and Time as specified.

The WBG seeks to retain a qualified and licensed insurance broker (Broker) to place insurance and provide risk management services for its institutional Property and Casualty Insurance Program (P/C Insurance Program) and for the Financial Lines insurance program. The P/C Insurance Program has several Coverage groups and renewal dates. The coverage groups are labeled for reference purposes only:

Category Group A - Financial Lines

Category Group B - Global Property & Casualty

To be eligible to bid, a Broker must be able to meet the following Mandatory Criteria:

1. Broker must have at least five (5) years of brokerage experience which demonstrates its capability to provide worldwide insurance brokerage services as specified within this RFP.

2. Broker must provide a team with staff accountable for service delivery and with experience required for the Scope of Work for each Coverage Group. Staff must be qualified to work directly with the WBG within the Scope of Work.

3. Broker must assist, when required, in the claims administration for all open claims from prior years.

4. Broker must provide template or specimen of plan, timeline, or tool to implement the various tasks and accountabilities, including but not limited to renewal stewardship, loss experience, analytics and insurance program documents for WBG.

5. Broker must have the financial capability to successfully complete the Contract, which is substantiated by a complete set of financial statements for the previous two (2) fiscal years, and a copy of the company charter, Articles of Agreement or other evidence indicating its official status.

6. Broker must agree to the WBG’s non-negotiable Contract terms and conditions.

Given that the WBG’s proprietary information is included in the RFP documents, Brokers must, via email, request for the WBG Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and return its signed copy before receiving the RFP documents.
