IFC provides advice to client governments in the implementation of private-sector participation arrangements through its Public-Private Partnership Transactions department.

In this role, IFC helps client governments to set up and manage data rooms for the transaction due diligence and negotiation process vis-à-vis private investors, including management of competitive tender auctions in which private companies bid for the acquisition, concession, or management contract for state-owned companies in developing countries.  IFC’s public-private partnerships cover several sectors, including power, water, roads, health, education, and ports, among others.

The objective of this RFP is to acquire a virtual data room (VDR) that will house project documents for the client throughout the due diligence process. The VDR will provide a secure location for documents where only parties who are associated with that specific project are able to access them.
