CLOSING DATE AND TIME: AUGUST 17, 2017 @ 2.00 PM EST
The World Bank Group (World Bank) invites Proposals from qualified Offerors interested in providing Systems Furniture for the World Bank Country Offices.
Requirements
The WBG seeks to enter into Framework Contracts for System Furniture for the WBG Country Offices, with up to three (3) System Furniture manufacturers per regional cluster. The WBG regions will be consolidated into four (4) regional clusters which are Africa covering Sub Saharan Africa region; Asia Pacific (ASPAC) covering East Asia & South Asia regions; Europe Middle East and North Africa (EMENA) covering ECA & MENA regions; & Latin America (LATAM) covering Latin America and Caribbean region.
System Furniture include workstations, chairs, storage solutions and conference / meeting room furniture. These Framework Contracts will be non-exclusive and will not have a volume commitment. These will enable project managers to select from Contractors’ multiple product lines, that meet the WBG minimum design specification and at a preferred discount percentage. Beyond the product cost, the cost of shipping, storage and installation will also be negotiated. These contracts will give Project Managers the flexibility to buy directly from one of the Contractors; or undertake a competitive bidding amongst the Contractors; or go outside of the Framework Contracts to the market with a competitive solicitation. Contractors will be required to have a web based interface where the Project Manager as well as locally appointed Project Architects can get information about product offerings, production timelines, discount percentage, standard designs and product lines procured in the past, etc. All these will assist the Project Manager to speed project execution.
Firms must meet all the mandatory criteria outlined below to be considered as eligible for technical evaluation:
1. Offeror has a minimum annual gross revenue, in past three years continuously, of USD 2 million derived from sales of System and Office Furniture.
