The WBG invites qualified firms to submit technical and financial proposals to provide services associated with the World Bank Group’s requirement for a general contractor for the road construction in Almadies, Dakar, Senegal.
A pre-proposal conference will be held on March 18, 2022 at 9:00 am (EST) and site visit on March 21, 2022
Firms must meet the following requirements to be eligible for technical evaluation:
- Firms must have a minimum earned aggregate revenue of USD 4.50 Million per annum on average for last 3 years (2019, 2020, 2021).
- Firms must demonstrate it has consistent profitability for two (2) years of its operations in the last three years (i.e. showing a consolidated profit before taxes in at least two years).
- Firm must submit a complete set of audited financial reports/certified financials for the previous 3 fiscal years that demonstrate it has financial capability to successfully support the entire contract.
- Evidence that firm has been in business at least three (3) years and has performed work during that time in Dakar, Senegal.
- Evidence that Firm has successfully completed at least three (3) projects in the last five (5) years with similar size and scope to the one of this solicitation.
- Firms must be registered and authorized to engage in road construction in Dakar, Senegal. Firm shall have been in business for at least three (3) years, with an office in Dakar, Senegal
- Certification that the company has not been involved in any litigation action in the past 5 years which resulted in damages being awarded to the litigant, based on either failure to perform or poor maintenance.
- Confirmation that no Child or Underage Labor will be used in any part of this Construction Project.
- Evidence of ability to obtain insurance coverage stated in the contract.
- Confirm that you have read and accepted the World Bank Group Contract Terms and Conditions for Works as is.
- Any other requirements stated in the RFP.
