In the scope of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) mission; it is planned to support the development of a study that will enable the Jalisco State Water Commission ("CEA; in Spanish") to identify its needs for the proper treatment of wastewater in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara ("AMG; in Spanish"). This study will involve an analysis of alternative solutions for the treatment of wastewater generated in the AMG; particularly in the sub-basins within the Santiago River basin such as Río Blanco; El Vado; Coyula; San Andrés; San Gaspar; and Osorio; with the aim of analyzing the potential for circular economy in the public services; industrial; and agricultural sectors.
