The World Bank is seeking a consulting firm to support the development of a synthesis report and country briefs for the Pasifika Pathways for Water Security initiative. The objective of this assignment is to enhance understanding of water security issues in the Pacific and develop actionable pathways for improving and scaling water security. The consultant will analyze strengths-based pathways; incorporating traditional knowledge and practices; and address key drivers and impacts of water insecurity. The final deliverables will include a comprehensive synthesis report and four country briefs for Fiji; Kiribati; Papua New Guinea; and the Solomon Islands; outlining strategies for enhancing water security and resilience in the region.The deliverables for the contract include:1.Synthesis Report: A comprehensive report developed by the consultant with inputs from the World Bank team; incorporating key findings from existing and complementary research. The report will outline strengths-based pathways to enhance and scale water security in the Pacific.2.Country Briefs: Four country-specific briefs for Fiji; Kiribati; Papua New Guinea; and the Solomon Islands. These briefs will outline actionable pathways for increasing and scaling water security in each respective country.These deliverables aim to contribute to the overall understanding of water security issues in the Pacific and provide practical solutions for improving and sustaining water security in the region.
