The study's objective is to provide a detailed desktop study and review of the relationship between shipping activities and offshore wind. This study aims to identify the uncertainties and potential risks associated with the co-existence of shipping activities and offshore wind turbines; whether fixed or floating structures.The study should provide solid and up-to-date knowledge about issues concerning shipping and navigational safety; data collection and modelling; mitigation measures and stakeholder engagement regarding offshore wind build-out and any potential impact it may have on navigational risk.
