The Program on Sustainable Fishery Development in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden (SFISH) (P178143) aims to promote regional cooperation for sustainable fishery management and strengthen effective fishery production and value chains in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden (RSGA) region.This PROBLUE funded activity of the SFISH addresses challenges that threaten the sustainability of fisheries resources in Djibouti.  This activity aims to carry out analysis of development needs; constraints and opportunities; of selected fisheries; following a value chain approach; examining information on selected fish stocks; associated management measures; infrastructures; equipment; human capacity; food security; market access; and specific value chains elements; with particular attention to women and needs of refugee.
