The IFC is seeking to hire a consultant for the Airworthiness Expertise (Consultant) to assist on activities that aim at certification procedures for commercial; general aviation and non-commercial transport organizations. The consultant is expected to assist the project team in Kyrgyz Republic and key responsibilities will include the following tasks:  1.      1. Support in reducing regulatory barriers in tourism by:                     i.            Provide advice and assistance in implementation of the ICAO Correction Action Plan;                  ii.            Provide advice and assistance in development of the Kyrgyz Republic Aviation Regulations - 6 (Aircraft Operations) in accordance with the latest ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices and Instructional Materials;                iii.            Provide advice and assistance in development of the Aviation Regulations of the Kyrgyz Republic - 7 (Civil Aircraft Registration) in accordance with the latest ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices and Instructional Materials;                iv.            Provide advice and assistance in development of the Kyrgyz Republic Aviation Regulations - 8 (Airworthiness of Aircraft) in accordance with the latest ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices and Instructional Materials;Consultant task is provide recommendations and advice that will help CAA respond to ICAO audit and set the process in motion to address related issues in the ICAO audit.  Consultant will not be required to work with CAA on implementation of these recommendations.2.     2.  Prepare progress report with key milestones as requested by the Project Leader (PL).
