The International Finance Corporation (IFC); a member of the World Bank Group; is providing advisory services to the Solomon Islands Government to catalyse tourism investment. This work is part of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Accessing Land for Tourism Investment Facilitation (ALTIF) project.The first phase of work (refer https://www.ifc.org/en/insights-reports/2021/solomon-islands-tourism-industry-guides-for-investors-and-government <https://www.ifc.org/en/insights-reports/2021/solomon-islands-tourism-industry-guides-for-investors-and-government> ) has included business case analysis and an extensive tourism investment site identification process in Western; Guadalcanal and Central provinces. IFC is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) to support next stage work in investment concept refinement; including i) best-use analysis confirmation; based on IFC’s initial analysis (including IFC high-level E&S assessments); ii) definition of operating model; iii) project finance planning and development; iv) estimate of investment and risks; v) evaluation/price estimate of top sites; vi) development of promotional brochure for site/project (including images; artist impressions).
