The project is looking for a consultant / company to conduct the research and mapping of regulatory and administrative procedures in the pharmaceutical sector. The main objective of this assignment is to prepare an analytical note on the pricing regime in several countries – Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, China, the USA, and the UK.Based on the experience of other countries, the consultant shall provide recommendations on simplification and increasing efficiency of the pricing regime in Pakistan.The assignment will consist of the following parts.a.                   Description of the overall pricing regime (its goal, rules and principles), mapping and analysis of procedures, required for setting or changing a retail price for a medication, produced in mentioned six countries, to the respective domestic markets.b.                  Recommendations for changes of the pricing regime in Pakistan, with the goal to make it supportive for the pharmaceutical industry development and create incentives for the pharmaceutical industry to invest in R&D and new products manufacturing.
