RFP 22-0331 Update And Modernization Of The WBG General Environmental, Health, And Safety (EHS) Guidelines And Three Sectors Specific EHS Guidelines

The deadline for submission of proposals for the consulting services has been extended to Monday March 7, 2022 no later than 9am (Washington DC time).

The World Bank Group (WBG) invites qualified and capable consulting firms to submit technical and financial proposals for the update and modernization of the Environmental Health and Safety Guidelines (EHSG). The Update and Modernization efforts will start with the General EHSG and three Sector Specific EHSGs: Electric Power Transmission and Distribution, Health Care Facilities, and Airports (all referred to as Priority EHSG). The strategic goal of the update and modernization of the Priority EHSG is to revise the scope, content, and structure of the Priority EHSG to better reflect the challenges currently faced in operations and offer more practical tools for E&S practitioners and other stakeholders, and to ensure they are up to date with the current Good International Industry Practice.                                                                                             

Interested firms must comply with the following financial and general experience RFP mandatory requirements:                   

  • The firm must submit a complete set of audited financials for the previous 2 fiscal years that demonstrates it has the financial capability to successfully support the entire contract.
  • The firm must demonstrate that they posses knowledge of WBG Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines.                     
  • A pre-proposal conference will be held on February 14 at 1pm (Washington DC time). Firms interested in attending may join the meeting using the link below:
