You may use the following text: The World Bank Group is launching a solicitation process to hire a general contractor for a Refurbishment of The World Bank Country Office in La Paz, Bolivia. This property measures 7,595 sq. ft. and is on the 8th floor of Edificio HORIZONTE, Av. Ballivián. This new premises requires a refurbishment to comply with WBG guidelines for space, health, COVID-19 guidelines, safety, security, IT and working environment improvement.
The internal renovation will cover various aspects, including the construction of masonry walls and lightweight acoustic systems, interior painting, new floor and wall finishes, signage, ceilings, acoustic glass doors and partitions, and fixed carpentry. Electromechanical systems, such as electrical and lighting systems (including control), air conditioning systems (including precision equipment in the IT room), ventilation, extraction in bathrooms, fire protection and clean agent systems, plumbing, and sanitary fixtures, are also part of the scope. Additionally, security systems like fire alarms, access control, intercom, and CCTV, as well as IT Systems, Audio, and Video systems in accordance with WB requirements, will be installed.
Bidders must meet all mandatory criteria to be eligible for technical evaluation.
The walkthrough of the site will take place on October 20, 2023 (10.00 AM, Bolivia time)
Proposal submission deadline November 10, 2023 (5.00 PM, Bolivia time), only electronic copy will be accepted.
