“WBG” invites expression of interest from firms for the receipt of a solicitation for providing services associated with the World Bank’s requirement for Review the Effectiveness and Efficiency of INT’s Process at its Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development hereinafter referred to as “WBG” invites expression of interest from firms for the receipt of a solicitation for providing services associated with the World Bank’s requirement for Review the Effectiveness and Efficiency of INT’s Process at its Headquarters in Washington, D.C.  

BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK

The objective of this engagement is to obtain an impartial analysis from an independent third-party, with specialized expertise in legal, investigative and/or forensic services (the “Consultant”), on the current performance of INT in relation to key efficiency metrics, benchmark its performance against relevant comparators in industry and/or amongst peers, and identify opportunities for improvements in INT’s delivery model and effectiveness. This analysis, and the resulting recommendations, will provide an additional input -along with other sources of input - to inform the strategic roadmap for the unit going forward. For the purposes of this engagement, the main counterpart of the Consultant will be the INT Vice-President.  The Consultant will also be expected to consult with the Chair of the WBG Audit Committee both at the inception and at the conclusion of the review or at any point during the review at the request of the Chair or as deemed necessary by the Consultant

MANDATORY CRITERIA

1.1   Customer references for which similar service is currently provided by Offeror. Three references are required;

1.2   Offeror has been in business for at least five (5) years;

1.3   The offeror has experience working with multi-lateral organizations and international financial institutions;

1.4   Firms must have encryption controls for information that the vendors will store (data at rest) and/or transmit (data in motion/in transit)

There may be additional mandatory criteria. They, if any, will be provided as part of the RFP package.

Firms meeting the above mandatory criteria may request a solicitation package.
