WBG wishes to select an Adobe software reseller for our Adobe software license and maintenance purchases. This reseller will serve as the primary supplier of Adobe software products to the Bank.

1.  Background

The World Bank Group (WBG) is an international organization whose fundamental mission is to promote sustainable economic development and to reduce poverty in developing countries. The World Bank Group (referred to as “The Bank”) consists of five closely associated institutions: the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD); International Development Association (IDA); International Finance Corporation (IFC); Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA); and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). WBG is the world’s largest source of country development assistance, providing approximately $20 billion in loans annually to its 185 member countries. It uses its financial resources, highly trained staff, and extensive knowledge base to help its global clients achieve stable, sustainable and equitable growth in the fight against poverty.

2.  Objectives

The World Bank Group wishes to select an Adobe software reseller for our Adobe software license and maintenance purchases.  This reseller will serve as the primary supplier of Adobe software products to the Bank. In scope is the full spectrum of Adobe software products on the market.

This contract will be for three (3) years with optional (1) year extensions, at the sole discretion of the World Bank.  During the initial three year term and the 1option year, the mark-up shall not increase.  The World Bank will renew the licenses that are listed in section 2 each year during the contract term.  However, the World Bank reserves the right true-up licenses or reduce licenses as needed on an annual basis.

Subject to the exceptions of the respective information disclosure policies, for any contract award valued at and over US$250,000 made after July 1, 2013, the World Bank Group reserves the right to publicly disclose contract award information – specifically, the name of vendor receiving the award, a brief description of the contract goods or services, and the contract award amount. Vendor's proposal and contractual documents will remain confidential and therefore not subject to disclosure.
