The WBG is seeking proposals in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP), to address the need for a Dining Point of Sale (POS) system to support the retail food services operations at its Headquarters.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:  DECEMBER 15, 2020 @ 4.00 PM US EST

1.1. The WBG is seeking proposals in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP), to address the need for a Dining Point of Sale (POS) system to support the retail food services operations at its Headquarters in Washington, DC, which is currently managed by a third party contractor.  The WBG is seeking solutions for the purchase or lease  of the new system.

1.2. The POS is used in the WBG’s five cafeterias, six coffee bars and the main dining room at MC. There is a total of 43 POS terminals. An average of 8,500 transactions are processed daily. The POS system consists of:

Hardware: the POS terminal, cash drawer, and receipt printer; and

Software: the program that operates the system, performs cash register functions, including

processing transactions, tracking sales, and creating receipts.

There are currently 11 digital signage boards that reside in two of the WBG buildings. The WBG desires to have all Cafes and Coffee bars with digital signage.
