RENOVATION OF INTERNATIONAL FINANCE CORPORATION (IFC) OFFICE BANGKOK, THAILAND

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:  JANUARY 15, 2021 @ 3.00 PM BANGKOK TIME

International Finance Corporation (IFC), Bangkok office, located at Siam Tower, Bangkok, Thailand, is planning to expand its office space due to increasing number of staff.

The existing office currently occupies the total space of 498 Sq. M2 and has a seat capacity of 33. IFC intends to take possession of the neighboring unit to expand its office space. The total space after expansion will be approximately 951 sq. M2. After expansion IFC expects the total space can accommodate at least 65 staff. IFC is therefore seeking to hire a qualified general contractor to provide construction and retrofitting service of the said office. The work includes but is not limited to demolition, flooring finishes, partition work, MEP, HVAC, Fire protection, security and sanitary system, etc.

To be eligible, the contractor needs to meet the following criteria:

• Evidence of minimum average annual revenue in Architectural, Civil and Interior Works/Construction of Thai Baht 60 million, equivalent to USD 2 Million for the last three years (from 2017 to 2019), while performing as a General Contractor in services similar to the work described in this RFP.
• Evidence of fiscal capability to furnish a USD 75,000 performance bond or Bank Guarantee.
• Firm must submit a complete set of audited financial reports/certified financials for the previous 3 fiscal years that demonstrate it has financial capability to successfully support the entire contract.
• Evidence that the Firm is registered and is authorized to engage in the Construction Business, Civil Works, Construction Services in Bangkok, Thailand.
• Offeror must have been in Construction business at least 5 years and must demonstrate that over the last 5 years the firm has successfully and continuously been engaged as a General Contractor
• Evidence of ability to obtain insurance coverage as per IFC requirement
