QUALITY ASSURANCE SERVICES FOR THE FOOD AND CONFERENCE SERVICES PROGRAM

The WBG is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Quality Assessment Services for the WBG’s Food and Conference Services Program as summarized below:

1.       Conduct periodic independent quality assessments, evaluation and rating of the WBG’s Food, Conference, Office Hoteling and Event Set-up services Program. These services are currently performed by two contractors: one for Food and Catering Services and one for Conference Services, Office Hoteling and Event Set-up services.  The assessment will be based on, Quality Assurance, Critical Performance Indicators, Customer Satisfaction Surveys, Financial and Operational Performance, and Key Results Indicators.

2.       Metrics and benchmarking performance: The WBG’s Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) is a key element in the assessment of the GCS Food and Conference Services Contracts Both contracts above have a performance-based risk reward program.  The contractor under this requirement, will serve as an independent third party in reviewing at least on a quarterly basis the achievement of SLAs, cost expenditures, invoicing, quality assurance and measures to achieve cost efficiencies. Close monitoring of the Food Service and Conference Services provider’s SLAs by which the deliverables, outputs and key performance indicators will be measured on an annual basis as follows:

(i)                 Managing Continuous Improvement Program

(ii)               Reviewing contractor’s financial performance

(iii)             Conducting unannounced safety and bacteriology inspections

(iv)              Developing quality assurance and sanitation audit response actions

(v)                Comparing Best Practices with similar organizations in all areas of food and conference services

(vi)              Conducting Industry Benchmarking

(vii)            Participating in discussions to determine modifications to current methods and practices in order to align the CIP components with goals and objectives of the GCSFC business units
