The WBG’s Purchasing Card (PCard) program utilizes cards that allow the organization to take advantage of existing credit card infrastructure to make electronic payments for a variety of business expenses (e.g., goods and services).

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:  OCTOBER 17, 2018 @ 5.00 PM EST

The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, hereinafter referred to as “The World Bank Group (WBG)”, invites Proposals from Offerors interested in providing Purchasing Card Services as outlined in the RFP document.  Proposals must be received by the WBG on or before October 17, 2018, 5 pm EST. 

The WBG’s Purchasing Card (PCard) program utilizes cards that allow the organization to take advantage of existing credit card infrastructure to make electronic payments for a variety of business expenses (e.g. goods and services). 

The WBG seeks to enhance its Purchasing Card program to achieve process efficiencies, supplier utilization optimization, increased cost savings and increased rebate returns.  It is the WBG’s intent to make the PCard available to the WBG’s offices worldwide.

The Contractor is expected to provide a solution and support which will assist the WBG to stay abreast of the latest state-of-the-art technology and to implement such technologies, as appropriate.

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) - The WBG will disclose or exchange certain proprietary and confidential information, and they desire that the recipient keep such information confidential, and use it only in connection with the following purposes: To participate in an RFP process whereby, Offeror will be given access to the relevant WBG internal “Official Use Only” or “Confidential” documents.  A signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be required prior to releasing the solicitation.  Parties will request for and then receive the NDA via email and will be required to return the signed NDA prior to receiving the solicitation documentation.

The WBG reserves the right to publicly disclose contract award information, including but not limited to, name of company receiving the award, brief description of services, and contract award amount, for any contract award valued over US$250,000.  Offeror's proposal and contractual documents will remain confidential and therefore not subject to disclosure. 

The World Bank reserves the right to reject any or all responses without recourse.
