In accordance with its Responsible Investing and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Policy, the WBG intends to engage a specialist service provider (the “Contractor”) to undertake the Plan’s proxy voting and corporate engagement functions.

The Pension and Endowments Department (PEN) is the unit in Treasury of the World Bank Group (WBG) responsible for the financial management and administration of the WBG’s post-retirement benefit plans (“the Plan”), including the retirement scheme (the Staff Retirement Plan and Trust – SRP), the retiree medical and life insurance programs (the Retired Staff Benefits Plan and Trust – RSBP), and other ancillary benefits in the Post-Employment Benefits Plan (PEBP).  Financial management includes asset management responsibilities and actuarial support. PEN manages about $27 billion invested across a range of asset classes and strategies, from fixed income to public equities to private equity, real assets and absolute return strategies.

In accordance with its Responsible Investing and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Policy, the WBG intends to engage a specialist service provider (the “Contractor”) to undertake the Plan’s proxy voting and corporate engagement functions.
