World Bank Group (WBG) is consistently evaluating opportunities to improve its operating efficiency through technology and innovation. WBG is looking to procure a ‘Process Mining’ platform to automate process modeling, and analytics to accelerate automation, optimize processes and improve decision making for key business processes. Process Mining fits WBGs strategic priorities in becoming more data-led to deliver process simplification and automation, improve decision making and upskilling the workforce using data analytics. Process Mining is expected to support process analysis and documentation work related to ERP migration.
World Bank Group Finance and Accounting (WFA) is one of the vice presidencies in the WBG and is responsible for financial reporting and internal control framework for the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), the International Development Association (IDA), the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Trust Fund/Partnership portfolio of those entities. WFA will be the initial adopters of this Process Mining platform within WBG and Process Mining is expected to be adopted more widely across the WBG once established in WFA.
