The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development hereinafter referred to as “WBG” invites interested parties to respond to a Request for Information (RFI) for Payment Administration for Business Enabling Environment Project.  This RFI is issued for the purpose of obtaining information concerning market conditions and vendor capability in order to allow the World Bank to refine its requirements and to better understand what is currently available on the commercial market place.           

The World Bank Group proposes to hire a vendor to administer remuneration payments to experts for a set number of economies in a region, or on a global level. The firm should have demonstrated capability to undertake such a remuneration exercise, including ability to make payments across multiple countries in a region or at a global level.  Regions are defined as per World Bank Group classification (i.e., – Africa, East Asia & Pacific, Europe & Central Asia, Latin America & the Caribbean. Middle East & North Africa, South Asia). 

The WBG does not intend to award a contract based on this RFI or to otherwise pay for the information solicited.
