The World Bank Group “WBG” invites interested parties to respond to a Request for Information for Off-Site Meeting Services.This RFI is issued to obtain information about market conditions, vendor policies and practices, and to better understand what meeting facilities are currently available in the commercial marketplace. This will also allow the WBG to refine its requirements for any future Request for Proposal (RFP) process involving this subject matter.      

The WBG is seeking properties to provide off-site meeting venues for its offices in Washington, DC.  The general off-site meeting venue services will include the following:
a) Day meeting package that includes meeting room, food and beverage, and standard audiovisual equipment and services as described under Key Requirements, Section 1.a
b) Sleeping room blocks for groups of 10 or more – sometimes without meeting space.
c) Standard to upgraded audiovisual package options.
The objectives of the WBG are to:
1.Minimize cost for events and sleeping accommodations.
2.Identify an appropriate number of meeting sites (hotels/conference centers) for consideration.
3.Ensure that the meeting sites responding to this RFI can accommodate the range of meeting types the Bank holds (i.e., meetings, conferences, training programs, and retreats).                                                                      

The WBG does not intend to award a contract based on this RFI or to otherwise pay for the information solicited.
