Main Complex (MC) Busduct Replacement Project

CLOSING DATE AND TIME: SEPTEMBER 30, 2021 @ 5:00 PM EST

The World Bank Group (WBG) is seeking to procure the services of a General Contractor for the supply and installation of the electrical busduct infrastructure in the south and west sections of the Main Complex (former D and E buildings), located in Washington, DC.

Mandatory Criteria
1.  Evidence of minimum earned aggregate revenue of USD 5.00 Million per annum on average for last 3 years (2018, 2019 and 2020).
2.  Evidence of consistent profitability for two (2) years of its operations in the last three years (i.e. showing a consolidated profit before taxes in at least two years).
3.  Evidence that firm has been in business at least five (5) years and has performed work during that time in the Washington DC Metro area.
4.  Evidence that Firm has successfully completed at least three (3) projects in the last five (5) years with similar size and scope to the one of this solicitation.
5.  Offeror must accept the draft contract as is.
6.  The firm must demonstrate insurance coverage and associated limits as follows:
• Worker’s Compensation in accordance with local law or other social insurances - Applicable to Contractor’s operations.
•  Personal Accident Insurance*:  Covering all employees with a death benefit equal to at least three (3) years’ salary
•  Automobile Liability Insurance Minimum* at least US$500,000 per person per occurrence for death or bodily injury and US$100,000 per occurrence for property damage or loss.
•  Builder’s Risk Insurance/All Risk Insurance - Property insurance written on an ‘all risk’ basis covering the property owner and the Contractor for the Works, together with materials and plant to 
   be  incorporated therein, and Contractor’s equipment and other things brought onto the site by Contractor, to the full replacement cost during the course of construction until acceptance by 
   Owner.
•  Comprehensive General (Third Party) Liability Insurance*: For all operations including Contingent Liability coverage for subcontractors, Products and Completed Operations, Broad Form CGL  
   Endorsement, and Contractual liability (to cover assumption of liability under this contract) with minimum limits of US$ 1,000,000 per aggregate combined.
* These limits may be lower if an Umbrella policy raises the liability limit to meet the requirement.
