WBG is looking for ways to do leadership development smarter and more cost effectively by leveraging industry trends and best practices.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:  JANUARY 18, 2019 @ 11.45 P.M. (EST)

Leadership and Management Development, Facilitation and Coaching are critical tools for leaders at all levels across the WBG. The importance of leadership development programs is critical to the long-term success of organizations.   Having effective leaders that can engage teams through sense of purpose and recognition has been shown to make for a more effective organization.  More and more global companies are now focusing on developing leaders from all levels of the organization that have been identified as “high-potential” to yield better results in succession planning

The World Bank Group (WBG) is looking for ways to do leadership development smarter and more cost effectively by leveraging industry trends and best practices. The ability to provide blended and highly-customizable solutions, incorporating, but not limited to, formal and informal methods of leadership and management development in lieu of generic lecture-based and off-the-shelf un-customizable solutions, is a fundamental principle the WBG seeks in all leadership and management development programs The WBG is also looking to achieve greater cost-efficiency to serve a diverse and globally dispersed pool of coaching clients; strengthen the shared accountability for progress during the coaching engagement (shared between the client, the coach, the line-manager, the WBG Coaching Program team), and strengthen the line of sight between the coaching engagements and the leaders’ effectiveness.

The WBG invites Offerors qualified to design and develop, deliver and implement on a number of new leadership and management development programs and solutions at all levels across the WBG as well as provide coaching and facilitation services to managerial cadre to participate in this solicitation.
