The World Bank Group (WBG) is requesting market information for enterprise level access to geospatial data sources and services that can be used for analysis of local context both through the recent past (10 years plus) as well as tasking and collecting new near real time data. WBG is gathering this information to implement a new strategy to meet its future business needs. This RFI aims to gather information on capabilities for collection of data from streetview cameras, cellphones (GSM), smartphones (App-based), drones, airborne and satellite platforms (EO, LIDAR, SAR, Thermal, Microwave), as well as other remote and in-situ data sensors and means not otherwise listed.
WBG is also interested in value added data processing services packaged with such access to include, but not limited to spatial, spectral and radiometric analysis, elevation modeling, object tracking, vehicle and foot traffic, Call Detail Record (CDR) analysis, and artificial intelligence tools (machine learning and computer vision) for object detection, feature extraction and mapping, material typing, and persistent change detection at scale. This includes products and services that provide geospatial data and insight about places outside the United States, Canada and the European Union.
