One important tool that IFC uses to achieve its developmental and financial objectives is making investments into third-party managed private equity (PE) funds. IFC is looking for a funds management solution  delivered through a platform that will allow data capture for, tracking and supervision of, and reporting on, IFC’s fund investments and underlying portfolio companies. The platform must securely host data on IFC’s portfolio of funds and co-investments, as well as portfolio company data, and provide IFC with the ability to manage and gain insights into its investments. The three key business requirements are professional data entry services, production of draft valuations for investee funds and co-investment and interactive user interfaces, dashboards and reporting for enhanced portfolio analytics.
