The WBG is seeking a qualified contractor to provide event management services in support of the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) Global Debt Mobilization Conference: Creating Opportunities for Investments in Emerging Markets to be held in Western Europe, either in Spain (Madrid), France (Paris) or Germany (Munich or Berlin).
IFC will host the event in Western Europe (Madrid, Paris, Munich or Berlin) over two days in Spring 2019 (mid-to-late March/or early April). The exact dates and location will be provided before or during Phase II of the RFP process. The audience is expected to be around 350-400 people, including representatives of IFC’s partners and IFC Staff. It will feature extensive participant networking opportunities, diverse discussions by globally renowned speakers, and memorable events -- culminating in a gala dinner awards ceremony -- to celebrate our partners while also highlighting the culture and ambiance of our host city.
The 2019 conference is being managed by an Organizing Committee within the Vice Presidency at IFC. The Organizing Committee is presently seeking an event management firm to assist in the implementation of the event and to ensure that the objectives of the conference are fully achieved.
