IFC is seeking expression of interest from the firms who has the following capabilities.
IFC has created the EDGE program to mainstream green buildings in emerging markets by aligning the interests of financial institutions, property developers, homeowners, and governments. With the support of global and local partners, EDGE aims to penetrate 20 percent of new build in more than a dozen target markets within the next several years.
Supported by free software, EDGE demonstrates how buildings can be more profitable while easing their impact on the environment. To reach the EDGE standard and qualify for certification, a building must achieve a 20 percent reduction in energy, water and embodied energy in materials. The complexity of climate data and building physics calculations within EDGE are hidden beneath an easy-to-use interface, providing an easy, fast, and affordable way to design green.
The purpose of this contract is to hire an agency with both traditional graphic design skills and deep front-end and back-end technology know-how to further develop the current EDGE website at www.edgebuildings.com. The firm will be responsible for all stages of workflow to continuously evolve and maintain the EDGE website within its current WordPress environment. Additional responsibilities outside of the scope of the website include maintaining branding guidelines and designing brochures and other marketing materials, including booth displays for conferences and certification plaques.
