DEVELOPING SSAFE REFRESHER TRAINING MODULES

The Corporate Security Training Team of the World Bank Group (WBG) currently delivers a United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) created training program known as Safe and Security Approaches in Field Environments (SSAFE). The SSAFE is designed to provide awareness, leadership, teamwork and decision-making skills to enable WBG staff to deal with emergencies and dangerous situations arising in high threat areas and react quickly under pressure to get themselves and their colleagues to safety. WBG staff living in and traveling to SSAFE mandated locations are required to complete the course prior to travel.

The World Bank Group seeks a qualified Vendor to provide services related to developing refresher SSAFE training modules comprised of immersive gaming experience scenarios of tactical training that incorporates SSAFE principles throughout eight (8) identified modules. The refresher training modules are intended for WBG staff who have previously taken the course and need recertification. Their scope includes response to a variety of threats, relevant to a variety of locations, without focusing on any particular one country or region. Use of immersive gaming experience scenarios is intended to simulate actual environment and be interactive and engaging for WBG staff to facilitate learning.
