The WBG has a diverse user base consisting of staff, consultants, contractors, business partners, external users such as job applicants. A lot of sensitive data related to these personnel resides in the WBG repositories to the various degrees of risk sensitivity. The WBG has a complex computing infrastructure that includes industry leading products, services and data sources both on premise and in the Cloud; such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, SharePoint Online, Office 365, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
The WBG already has an ongoing Data Management program. The intent of this RFP is to select one or more vendor for providing Data Discovery and Masking services. The Data Discovery tool we are planning to implement, is expected to integrate with both Collibra and Informatica, if necessary.
This stage we are seeking qualified firms to review our requirement and respond to be Pre-qualified to be invited for technical evaluation – which will involve PoC based on use cases which the World Bank would like to conduct to see and verify Dynamic Data Masking (DDM), Static or Persistent Data Masking, Tokenization and Format Preserving Encryption are some of the controls that we would need to implement.
