CONSTRUCTION OF WBG OFFICE IN RWANDA

The World Bank Group (WBG), located at 1818 H Street, N.W., Washington D.C, is constructing a new Country Office in Kigali, Rwanda.  The new office building will comply with LEED V4.1 Gold and EDGE certification and will comprise approximately 6,239 sqm gross build-up building area, consisting of G + 4 and 2 parking basements and auxiliary structures.  

Within this context, WBG is launching a pre-qualification process, on which to base the selection of firms for the receipt of a solicitation for providing Construction of The World Bank Group Office in Rwanda.

Bidders must meet all mandatory criteria requirements including but are not limited to:

1. Average annual turnover of more than US Dollars 19 Million (USD 19,000,000 Million), equivalent to RFW 19,000 Million, for the last four years (2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020), while performing as a General Contractor

2. Fiscal capability to furnish a US Dollars Seven Hundred Thousand (USD 700,000) performance bond or Bank Guarantee.

3. A complete set of audited financial reports/certified financials for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 that demonstrate it has the financial capability to successfully support the entire project.

4. Possess all required licenses, permits and related paperwork and is authorized to operate as a General Contractor in the Construction Business, Civil Works, Fit-out works  in Kigali, Rwanda.

5. Have successfully and continuously been engaged as General Contractor in providing similar service to those required in this REI over the last 5 years.

6. Firm must have a permanent office in Rwanda
