The World Bank Group is seeking to procure facility management services for its building in Brasilia.  

The Facility Management firms would undertake the below services among others: 

a. Business Support Services

The contractors shall prepare annual operating budget for providing services under the contract. These operations budgets shall include all related costs to perform maintenance and maintain operations of the building including parts and supplies for supporting normal building maintenance and operations

b. Building operations maintenance and repair services 

The Contractors shall provide high quality, cost-effective service to building tenants. Contractors shall initiate and supervise all ordinary operations, maintenance, service and repairs on or around the Office Building. This shall include the tracking and administration of inspections and preventive maintenance programs for the Office Building and equipment as mutually agreed upon. 

The services under this key area include:

• Mechanical / Electrical

• Building Manangement System

• Air Conditioning

• Generators and UPS

• Fire Equipment

• Lifts/Elevators

• Plumbing system, etc.

c. Cleaning, landscaping and Pest control services 

i) Cleaning services - Contractor shall perform cleaning services, including but not limited to, general cleaning of facilities, offices, mechanical/electrical plant rooms and computer rooms, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, façade cleaning, and hygiene services. Contractor shall ensure that housekeeping in the compound is performed in accordance with specifications for housekeeping to be developed by the client and the Contractor.

ii) Contractor shall ensure that grounds, landscaping, and the roofs are maintained in good clean condition. Contractor shall ensure, where required, that all main roads, walkways, parking lots, emergency exit paths and doorways are cleared of any obstructions, debris, ponding water, etc. and that they are swept and washed to ensure safe for pedestrian traffic commensurate with the particular facility normal operating hours.

iii) Pest control services should include material, labor and equipment for disinfection, pest & rodent control periodically and when needed. The Contractor should directly or through a sub-contractor deploy a pest control agency.

The WBG invites interested firms to respond to a Request for Information (RFI). This RFI is issued for the purpose of soliciting information from potential offerors to determine the availability of  suitable suppliers and  in order to allow the WBG to refine its requirements.  No scoring or evaluation will be conducted based upon RFI responses. A subsequent RFP is anticipated within two months following the release of this RFI.
