The World Bank Group is seeking fims to respond to this REI for the receipt of a solicitation for hosting and associated services for the World Bank eLibrary. Responding firm will provide information on their commercial off-the-shelf subscription-based platform that is designed to meet the needs of institutional researchers, students, professors and patrons. The platform must be customizable to some degree to meet the requirements of WBG. The selected firm will provide the associated fully-managed services, including migration (of content, metadata and associated links), maintenance and support, and regular upgrades.


The Pre-Qualification will serve to qualify Firms that are interested in participating in a later solicitation for the above service that will be issued by the WBG.  Only qualified Firms will receive the solicitation. The WBG is not obligated to award a contract based on the responses to this REI document or otherwise compensate Firms for providing the requested information. The WBG reserves the right to defer or cancel any solicitation without penalty.

All Firms determined qualified will be invited to submit a response to the solicitation for the services.

The WBG reserves the right to publicly disclose contract award information, including but not limited to, name of company receiving the award, brief description of services, and contract award amount, for any contract award valued over US$250,000. Offeror's proposal and contractual documents will remain confidential and therefore not subject to disclosure.

The World Bank reserves the right to reject any or all responses without recourse.
