World Bank Industrial Infrastructure and Firm Survey 2019

Image

The World Bank Group is undertaking surveys of key representatives of operators of industrial infrastructure (industrial parks, industrial estates, special economic zones, and others) and of businesses located within and near such infrastructure in the South Asia region. The surveys are being implemented by Nielsen, a leading international survey research agency.

The surveys will be completed through a face-to-face interview with senior executives and key decision makers. All information gathered will be treated with the strictest confidence, and the anonymity of each interviewee is guaranteed. Respondents will not be linked to the responses and it will not be possible to identify individual respondents.

The results of the survey will inform the design of World Bank–funded investment programs and policy reforms aimed at improving regional connectivity and trade, attracting more investments, enhancing competitiveness, and creating more and better jobs along the Eastern Corridor spanning Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and Nepal.
