On May 30, TDLC hosted speakers from Kanagawa Prefecture and City of Fukuoka for the event to commemorate the publication of "Silver Hues: Building Age-Ready Cities” to discuss the inclusive city initiatives at their respective municipal governments. Yuji Kuroiwa, Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture, explained the "Healthcare New Frontier" policy based on "pursuit of cutting-edge medical care and the latest technology" and "improvement of unwellness", and Yasuko Arase, Deputy Mayor of Fukuoka City, explained the "Fukuoka 100" policy, a model for a healthy society for people living 100 years. We hope to continue to hold online events that incorporate in-person dialogue with the speakers in the future.
