Following the easing of COVID-19 related travel restrictions, TDLC has begun delivering on its FY24 work program earlier endorsed by Japan’s Ministry of Finance in the TDLC Steering Committee. The cornerstone of the TDLC program is the Technical Deep Dives (TDDs), which is a one-week knowledge exchange program that synthesizes, packages, and delivers key Japanese and global best practices aimed at generating actionable solutions that can be leveraged in World Bank projects in developing countries.
Below is the list of Technical Deep Dives (TDDs) planned for FY24 (July 2023-June 2024).

1. Property Tax and Land value capture This TDD covered aspects of Japan’s property tax and land-based financing system and approaches as well as those of other countries.
