Tens of thousands of micro, small, and medium sized businesses—the main source of employment for poor households—were destroyed or had their operations disrupted because of the devastating earthquakes that struck southern Türkiye on February 6, 2023.
With support provided by the World Bank, a program implemented by KOSGEB has helped 9,000 small businesses, like Kaltek Machinery in Antalya.
