00:57 In this new framework we have three high level objectives.

01:03 The first one is to create jobs,

01:06 private sector jobs for all Egyptians wherever,

01:10 regardless of where they live in Egypt,

01:12 regardless of whether they are men or women.

01:16 The private sector has to play a critical role in job creation,

01:21 and creating a level playing field is absolutely critical.

01:26 The second high-level objective

01:29 is to enhance further human capital outcomes

01:33 in health,

01:34 in education,

01:36 and of course also in social protection.

01:39 The third high level objective

01:43 is to improve Egypt's resilience to shocks,

01:46 macroeconomic shocks,

01:48 climate shocks.

01:50 This will help Egypt to reach its full potential

01:54 over the medium term.

01:56 In the new strategy we also have two cross-cutting themes.

02:06 and on gender,

02:07 empowering women to fully contribute
