The Resilience Academy aims to equip young people with a new generation of digital tools, knowledge, and skills to address the world’s most pressing urban challenges and ensure resilient urban development. Each year the Resilience Academy Internship Program exposes hundreds of students to industrial training. Students learn conceptual and practical data collection and management skills combined with workplace skills on community engagement and mapping, and carry out activities to solve real problems in their communities. Their work helps to narrow the data gap for informed climate resilient planning and management in their cities, and improves their skills for future career opportunities.
