00:28 The LGBTI community for various reasons are one of these

00:33 vulnerable communities which are at high risk of being left behind

00:37 with the COVID-19 response.

00:39 We are commemorating the International Day Against Homophobia,

00:43 Transphobia and Biphobia.

00:45 This is the 5th year that the World Bank is consecutively

00:49 commemorating

00:51 this occasion,

00:52 and we are joined with our MDB partners

00:55 this year,

00:56 that is the ADB,

00:57 the ERB,

00:58 and the IADB.

01:02 agreed that we should address one of the key issues

01:05 in addressing

01:07 the continued exclusion and discrimination

01:09 of sexual and gender minorities,

01:11 which is The lack of data.

01:13 Without data we will not be able to ensure

01:17 that we can achieve

01:18 the inclusion agenda

01:20 which is so key

01:21 for economic reasons as well as

01:24 for addressing

01:26 the people that are most affected.

01:28 So that's why together this year

01:31 we have agreed on this agenda

01:33 and

01:34 picked the theme of breaking the silence.

01:39 For a virtual week of activities and discussions and

01:42 dialogue where we will be addressing these critical issues

01:47 the sexual and gender minorities will be
