Poultry meat and eggs are often considered a luxury in many households in Africa. High production costs impede their consumption and as a result, the lower volume of sales hinders the industrialization of the poultry sector. But today, in Togo, the Regional Center of Excellence on Poultry Sciences - CERSA, provides hope that this can change, thanks to its research and training activities which accompany efforts to develop the sector.
