Eager to Learn: The Story of an 11 Year Old Girl in Haiti
January 26, 2017
In Haiti, parents spend on average $130 every year to send their child to school and more than 200,000 children remain out of school.
Meet 11 year old Jessica Prudent from Port-au-Prince. For the past six years, she has been able to go to school thanks to the Education for All programme, which paid for her tuition fees. How has this changed her outlook on life?
The Education for All Program is supported by the World Bank, the IDB, the Caribbean Development Bank and Global Partnership for Education.
