The Central African Republic's new president, Faustin Touadera, is working to revive the country's economy, which has suffered immensely as a result of the ongoing conflict. With the help of the international community, he and his cabinet are focussing on agriculture to restore food security to the hardest hit communities. They are also disarming, demobilizing and reintegrating former combatants.
