In 2009, almost 2 million people were displaced in the border areas of Pakistan, including Swat in and KP. Following security operations, normalcy returned to Swat and schools reopened, but most of them were fully or partially damaged. Today, with a rehabilitation grant from the Multi Donor Trust Fund for KP FATA and Balochistan, a school that was targeted and completely destroyed by militants is now fully operational with more than 650 students enrolled and 33 teachers in attendance
