Michelle Obama Excited by World Bank 2.5 Billion Pledge for Girl's Education

World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim announced plans to invest $2.5 billion over 5 years in education projects that directly benefit adolescent girls, whose empowerment is a WBG focus. The announcement in Washington was followed by a call from First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, for urgent action in support of adolescent girls.
