Central Africa Republic: Voters Brave Violence to Leave their Mark

Despite civil unrest and sectarian violence, citizens of the Central African Republic have voted in the country's first electoral referendum on Sunday December 13th, after decades of sectarian violence have stalled development. The country will go to the polls on December 27 to elect it's leadership.
