This documentary presents the achievements of the China Heat Reform and Building Energy Efficiency (HRBEE) GEF Project. Its goal was to achieve substantial, sustained and growing increases in energy efficiency both in urban residential buildings and in central heating systems in China’s cold climate regions. The project has helped develop the national and local body of methodologies and guidelines for implementing reforms. It has also provided interesting tools that can be used to monitor and further reduce heat consumption. For more details on the project, watch the video.
