Yemen: Communities take the lead to deliver services for the poorest

Aligned with government priorities, the Yemen Third Public Works project used community driven approaches emphasizing local ownership and resilience to deliver small infrastructure projects, overcoming civil war, displacement and near-economic collapse. Responding flexibly and focusing on secure areas country-wide enabled it to reach the poorest, including women.
